Day 8: Princeton to Penticton BC 40 km - Gaining perspective

While on a bike, you have the time to gain perspective.

On the advice of a local, we rode the Old Hedley Road. We were riding in a valley surrounded by towering mountains while having the time to stop to enjoy the small wonders along the river bank.

We also experienced the Kettle Valley Rail trail. This trail offers cyclists over 650 km, mostly on gravel surfaces.

Once in Penticton, we visited the local bike shop "Bike Barn" to repair the non "True North" bike, as the front brakes were not working. We have learned how important brakes are in the mountains.
