Day 17: Golden to BigHorn, AB 56 km - it's all downhill to Calgary now

The day started with a big climb up Kicking Horse Pass, elevation of 1627 metres.

We said "Goodbye" to BC and headed over the Alberta border where we rode the Bow Valley Parkway through Banff National Park. Many cyclists joined us on the route.

We then enjoyed the many downhills on a couple of bike paths to Deadman's Flats where we stayed the night.

Tomorrow, we go to Calgary.
