The province of Quebec certainly treats their cyclists well. From the Route Verte infrastructure, free camping at spots for those on a bike, to the friendly people along the way, cycling is welcome here.
Today, a lady stopped us to tell us how happy she was to see women riding together; she was even happier when she learned about our journey.
We were amazed to see a beautiful bike path next to an unpaved road...good prioritization.
The roads are full of people riding their bikes and we are happy to be among them.
