Day 78: Antigonish to Iona, NS 66 km - The best routes are the ones we have not ridden yet

"The best routes are the ones we have not ridden yet" - not sure this is a Celtic saying but it could be.

We drove to Creignish on Cape Breton Island so we could experience the amazing Celtic Shores Trail.

We explored the best of Canada’s seacoast as we journeyed along the trail, where awe-inspiring natural beauty is matched by the vibrant Celtic culture of this region.

We stopped at the Celtic Music Centre for some music and lobster poutine...yes lobster poutine! http://www.celticmusiccentre.com/

Spotted an eagle and sea lion, making this route one of our favourites.

As the Celtic say "Heaven and earth are only three feet apart, but in the thin places that distance is even smaller."
