Whatta yat? Is ya? That's a long pedal from Victoria to St.John's. G'wan! You're crossing Canada on a pedal bike? Welcome to Newfoundland!
After an impressively calm and enjoyable 17-hour ferry ride, we started our 2 days of riding, heading toward the Mile Zero marker in St. John's.
Although Newfoundland claims to have a rail trail system, it is much more suited to ATVs than bikes. After a couple of failed attempts, we decided to ride on Highway 1.
As the local say "Long may your big jib draw"
