Today, we did some urban riding along the Meewasin Trail. "Meewasin" is the Cree word for beautiful, which is a perfect word to describe this trail that goes on both sides of the South Saskatchewan river.
From the trail, we visited the Wanuskewin Heritage Park. This site offers cultural tours, art displays, archaeology digs and a restaurant that serves Bison.
The rest of the day, we enjoyed downtown Saskatoon including the Remai Art Gallery and the riverside parks.
